John came to the City Council several years ago as a one man company starting out in the IT support business. We trusted him to support our ever growing IT needs and he and his team of staff (his firm has grown considerably in the last few years) have never let us down. Prompt and attentive to our needs, John has dealt with everything from full server replacement, equipment upgrades, new software installations and debugging and those ever present calls from IT novices like me beginning “John, I can’t get the laptop to …..” John and his team are never patronising or condescending, always helpful and always on the end of the phone to help out. His service was tested as never before when, at a few days notice, we had to close down the entire office based operation of the Council and start working from home. We also had to introduce members to the concept of online meetings. Some were IT savvy, some definitely not, but probably the worst were those that thought they were, but weren’t - always the hardest to help. John and his team coped with them all, and the service was excellent throughout. We also trust John to acquire hardware for us as his knowledge of the market and the opportunities for discounted prices for good quality kit is tried and tested. We never pay catalogue prices for anything! I would have no hesitation in recommending John Finch Computers – they are a first class local firm and have proved completely reliable.
